  • Bruce Hoernecke

    Chief Executive Officer

    Bruce B. Hoernecke founded BBH Solutions Inc. in 1989. His vision has always been driven by what the customer experience with technology should be.

    Today BBH is a full service voice/data/video integration firm providing turnkey solutions of the industries Tier 1 manufacturers.  Bruce has a keen eye for blending with the most current, stable, secure, proven solutions and applications available. In recent years he has led the firm into Cloud solutions building world class data assets in the CoreSite NY2 location.

    Additionally Bruce has built the service/support desk practice and a world class team of communication architects.

    Mr. Hoernecke previously held positions at several technology firms and through those experiences envisioned a “better” company that would combine consulting methodology with practical technology implementation. BBH Solutions has a core culture and belief that sound principles and process combined with service excellence would fulfill a clear business need in the New York City and across the country.

    Mr. Hoernecke received a Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry Institute of Technology.

  • Michael L. Hoernecke

    Executive Vice President

    Michael L. Hoernecke is the Executive Vice President and a Principal of BBH Solutions.  Joining BBH in 1990, Michael has a compiled 25 years of network and infrastructure solution experience.  In addition to his executive management role, Michael remains active in sales and project delivery for some of BBH’s largest clients.

    Michael manages BBH’s Infrastructure Cabling practice. He developed the company’s union work force, which opened the cabling practice to more opportunities.  He has introduced BBH’s turnkey technology expertise to many different industry segments including; Fortune 500 companies, international banking institutions, and the SMB market.

    Michael received a Bachelor’s Degree with a business minor from Stony Brook University.

  • Ray Ortega

    Chief Technology Officer

    Ray Ortega joined BBH Solutions in February 2009, and serves as the company’s Chief Technology Officer.

    Prior to being named CTO, Ray was BBH’s Unified Communications Practice Manager, leading the teams responsible for Unified Communications, Networking, Security and other key technologies. He has more than 21 years of experience in the technology industry, with an expertise in Financial, Non-Profit, Life Sciences, Engineering and Manufacturing verticals.

    Before joining BBH, Ray was a Technologist and Consultant performing Business Case Analyses as well as building Networks, Trading Floors, and Global Unified Communications environments. He has participated in over 1,100 Client Projects and designed environments for over 400 firms, with high profile projects for many of the Fortune 50 firms.

    As CTO, Ray develops the BBH service offerings, and leads a team of Technologists that design, build, and support Voice, Data, and Video Solutions that are premise based or hosted in BBH’s cloud environment.

    Ray graduated with Honors from Bernard M. Baruch, Zicklin School of Business.

  • Scott DeCore

    Director of Operations

    As Director of Operations, with more than 15 years of experience in the technology industry, Scott DeCore has been instrumental in assuring that the daily operations of BBH Solutions effectively meets the needs of its client base.

    He oversees Operational Process and has a lead role in strategic planning and application of such. Scott had an essential voice in the design and implementation of BBH enterprise service dispatch/time tracking system.  Scott also oversees field coordination activities, supervising the dispatch of Engineers and the scheduling of project resources.

    Scott oversees the Purchasing Department, ensuring healthy relations with vendors and timely delivery of equipment.  He has also taken an active role in HR- related functions, such as hiring of personnel, developing benefits packages for employees, handling of employee relations and contract negotiations.

    Scott holds a B.S. degree in Management Science from Kean University.

  • John McCann

    Controller

    John McCann brings more than 20 years of experience to his position as the controller for BBH Solutions. He is responsible for the supervision and maintenance of the current and accurate financial records. As BBH’s Controller, he is concerned with the general accounting, costing accounting, auditing, taxes, insurance, and statistics. His analytical approach supplies the executive team with the financial information essential for decision making.

    John received his B.S. in accounting from Hofstra University. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

  • Layne Frank

    Director of Optimized Communications

    Layne has been designing and building optimized voice, video and data solutions for his customers around the globe for over 2 decades.  With roots going back to the early telecom industry, Layne’s entrepreneurial skills have helped lead BBH Solutions ‘sales professionals’ to the most advanced Cloud and Premise Based technology solutions in the communications ecosystem.  Layne is considered an expert in commercial real estate technology and has been instrumental in the planning and executing of hundreds of corporate relocations comprising over 20 million square feet.

    Layne has been a driving force behind BBH Solutions Cloud and Data Center Practice and expansion of our customer base.  Layne has achieved a milestone by logging over 50,000 hours of time spent toward his profession in technology through continued education and practical field application.

    Layne is a graduate of the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Arts

  • Greg Lewis

    Director of Client Services

    Greg Lewis joined BBH Solutions in 2015 after 8 years as a customer. Greg has supported thousands of users in the move to web-based, mobile and cloud systems. Greg brings 20 years of experience across both non-profit and for-profit environments. He is widely respected as an excellent communicator and is proficient in bringing teams together to  help businesses and organizations accelerate their success through technology.

    From fast-growing small business, intensely-paced political campaigns and a nationwide family of high profile non-profit organizations, Greg has consistently made complex technology structures easy to navigate with simple user experiences and excellent support.

    Greg earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from California State University Sacramento.
